Right. If you see me screaming "Flying Hippos!" in this Thread it's most likely frustration at my being unable to kill it. Or at least it's me wanting to give the impression of frustration, since everyone knows that my killing the Thread is in fact inevitable.

The sight of a flying hippo and an alligator attempting to dance to Swan Lake would be amusing, mind you.

There are other believers of flying hippos.

You can adopt a flying hippo.

Welcome to my world, dude. That's about the average temperature for around here at this time of year, with nighttime lows only being 5-7 degrees cooler.
Our expected high for tomorrow is 37 degrees C. Woo-hoo!

But you have air conditioning! We don't expect such temperatures, and are thus woefully unprepared.

There is also a pic of me somewhere in my apartment wearing that beanie and my uniform with the sash.

You poor soul.

I can't stand to feel the sun on my skin, if ever I'm in a hot climate I'm always darting between shaded areas.

I loved it in Universal Studios Orlando, everywhere outside they had these huge fans that blew cool air and mist on you as you queued for attractions or traversed the park. It was so refreshing whilst out under the scorching Florida sun.

Eh, you get used to it...or at least I have. At least ten times a day my co-workers (all native Alabamans who should be used to this, mind you) proclaim "It's Hot!" as if they're surprised. Wusses.
Acceptance of the weather and keeping hydrated are the keys to survival around here.

Hehe! I rather enjoy it, but the "farmer's tan" it gives me is somewhat less than sexy.

I can't stand a fan blowing directly on me, no matter how hot it is.

Looks like it's gonna be a hot one today, which makes being stuck in an office all the more sucky. I need a flying hippo to come bust me out.

Those are some bizarre badges you've got there Mel. Since when was there a wizadry badge?? And what's the one on the right, is it for capturing a leprauchan or something? We didn't do anything that cool in cubs.

i should guess that it is for helping a leprauchan cleaning his house... se how happy he are, and still he´s holding a broom.

i know that im woudnt be happy about cleaning if i hadnt dumped the shit on someone else.

I don't want this thread to die, then we won't have anywhere to talk about strange things like the ones above..
