You all should be wetting your combinations out of fear from the Brownies, right about now.

It's those Rainbows you want to beware of, not the Brownies or Guides...

There was a heatwave warning on the news earlier

We had Thunder and Lightning earlier, but it's sweltering now.

It's certainly a plan, but whether or not it's a good plan remains to be seen...

Nah. I live not more than about five minutes from the sea, but I can't stand lounging around on the beach for hours. And not just because we have stones instead of sand...

How... random .

Tell me, do flying hippos Flying Hippos often spring to mind? Do they do anything other than fly? And how big do their wings have to be in order that they can remain airbourne?

It's an expression of frustration or surprise...or random-ity.

But since you have asked, yes, they often spring to mind. In their leisure time they often dance ballet (sometimes with alligators for the male parts in Swanlake, but that is only on an irregular basis. It takes some time for the chiropractic physicians to bend the alligators' backs back in shape, you see.), and play cricket. Their wings are surprisingly small, and it is assumed that their ability to fly is only partly due to the fact that they have wings, and to a larger part due to nature having been bored at the time (and perhaps wanting to throw some pompous and too sure biologists off-track.). To be specific, the wings are hardly larger than the circumference of a normal dish, although there've been specimens with wings the size of Squash rackets.
