A guy walks into a bar, and spots a man who looks like Van Gogh. He strolls up to him and says "Hey, you're Van Gogh aren't you!"
"Why yes I am" Van Gogh replies.
"I love your work" the man says. "Can I buy you a drink?"
"No thanks" Van Gogh replies, "I've got one 'ere"

Ho ho ho, get it? One ear?

Descartes is sitting in a bar and the barman comes up to him and says.
"Here Rene. I'm just about to close up. Do you fancy another before I do?"
And Descartes says
"I think not"
and disappears.

Worse jokes than that coming unless I get a nice piece of artwork to stick in the blank space on my wall.

You don't see what makes it a joke or what makes it bad?

If the latter then I'll try harder next time. Or maybe that should be less hard. Whichever works best.

My favorite players in the game today are Gary Payton and Grant Hill because everyone thinks they're over the hill, yet they prove them wrong every night and are better than 90% of the young punks playing today.

Any chance of the dance and the poking appearing as an online video in the near future?

Great idea. But I think a live feed would be better.

Maybe so but I think we need to clarify the difference between poking and pok-ing. Could cause trouble otherwise.
