Did you know that...
Dorette Duck = Hortense McDuck (Scrooge's sister) in german, but also ... Dorette Duck (Oma Duck) = Elvira Coot (Grandma Duck) in german? That's why Scrooge's sister (as well as his horse, which he named after her. Hortense is also Donald's mother, and has the same temper [her husband is a hothead too, though] that Donald is famous for. Scrooge's horse is the complete opposite, because you'll not find anyone more stalwart than this horse. Instead of getting angry, it attacks people with it's wit [it's a funny story how Scrooge got this horse. That horse is everything but tame, actually.]) is usually referred to as "Dortel" in German, and Grandma Duck is referred to as either "Oma Duck" or "Doretter", depending on the person (for example, Donald, as well as the triplets call her Oma Duck [though technically she is the great-grandmother, which would be "Ur-Oma"/"Urgroßmutter"] , while Scrooge usually refers to her as "Dorette" [I think she is at least a bit older than Scrooge, because his sister married her son. They're not related in any other way.]. But other people, unrelated to the family [the mayor, but also common people], refer to her as "Oma Duck" or "Frau Duck" [Mrs. Duck] - she's probably the oldest citizen of the town, having lived there even when it was nothing but a few scattered farms and a few houses, one of them hers. It was not until Scrooge settled there, that the town started to grow.) -

Then again, no. His parents both had the shortest of tempers, but they did not have bad luck at all. Also, there's Donald's sister Della, who I always imagined as the calmer of the two. -

I think we should all email Harry Hill with a link to this thread and see if he features it on his show!

Isn't Robsie just so damn hot when he says that? Nothing like a cute brit boy feigning indifference. I need to take a cold shower.
