Search for "Kung-Fu Fighting lyrics" in Google. There's:
those cats,
those kicks,
those kids,
those jerks.
Then there's a weird fireman version...

And that's only the first page.

Under Section 1 of the Crime and Disorder Act of 1998 it is my duty to tell you that an ASBO, or Anti-Social Behaviour Order has been imposed upon every member of the Adventure Gamers forums other than Robert "RLacey/Tiberius" Lacey. Under the terms of the Order nobody else is allowed to enter the "Thread Must Die!" thread for a period of six months - without exception. Failure to comply with the terms of the ASBO will result in a lengthy prison sentence for the offender.

Unlucky, guys/gals.

UPDATE: Extradition procedures have been initiated against "Fairygdmther". Those subject to the ASBO are reminded that failure to comply will result in further criminal prosecution.

Search for "Mondegreens".

Or just click here.

Okay, maybe "cats" was right after all. But "kicks" makes more sense!

I actually think they all copied the lyrics from one source, and copied the mistake along with the rest. I still say it's "Kicks".

Hah, you wish.

Anyway, I just checked if we might have an LP of the song, to see if it might have the lyrics. I found out that we apparently don't have one, but I discovered we have an LP by Joan Baez.

Now I wish I had a working LP player. But it's impossile to find a quadrophonic Needle in the Carribean. Of course, Germany is not commonly associated with the Carribean, but it might as well, because it's as impossible to find a quadrophonic needle in Germany *these days*.

I'm not quite sure my family seems to own no LPs at all. It's as if my family simply wasn't alive thirty years ago...

You seem fairly happy about the fact that quadrophonic needles are unavailable. But have you tried eBay? Or maybe a specialist record store?

*This has just come in!*

The court today granted Karmillo a Leave of Awesomeness from the ASBO who then proceded to liberate the other thread goers from the ASBO upon their heads. Later the court Sanctioned an injunction allowing said thread goers to Crotch smash Sir* Robert Tiberius Lacey into the "Void".

Sir Lacey now resides in the pelvic rehab center of some place or other which has long slipped our minds....
We were going to find out where and have an exclusive interview but then got distracted by an addorable kitten in a shoe! Its breath smelled of sweat but no-one cared as the fine craftmanship of the show was remarkable! Some had speculated that the kitten was infact "Roughing it" and had cobbled the shoe to use as a sleeping bag!
Unfortunatly our fun was cut short when the kitten wa punted acrross the city by a Dog on a taboggan, an APB has been placed on the toboggan and we are now waiting on further details...

Please stay tuned!

First Fairygdmther, then Jaz, and now Karmillo.

Must you all stand in the way of my plans?!

You forget who I am. I'm the omnipotent puppeteer! They can't arrest the ruler of this planet, y'know.

Do I see a double negative there? Anyway, maybe they just got rid of them. We have had those LPs forever, and haven't been able to play them since the LP player broke when I was small (I might have been the one that broke the needle, although I think it was broken before.).

I'm not happy about it. But I was happy that I managed to get CoMI to run in order to look up what the name of the needle was.

My mother tried ebay already. It's not much cheaper, apparently.

Anyway, we're probably better off getting a new player.

I suspect you're right. I think that we too have a record player with a broken needle, although that was given to me by somebody and never belonged to my parents.

That would explain the smilies. It's nice to see that adventure games can successfully teach foreign languages!

And for pities sake, can I please kill this thread now?!

Oh, I have the german version of CoMI. "Quadrophonische Nadel" it is in german. (Though it's commonly referred to as "Saphirnadel" ["Sapphire Needle"] or "Piezonadel"/"Piezokristall" ["Piezo Needle"/"Piezo Crystal"] , depending on which of the two it is.)
