Columbo: Oh, errr, just one more thing before I go. This thread was found face down and the way the blood pooled suggests that it was shot in the back by a heavy-set man with a mustache, who likes to play Monopoly at the weekends. Ring any bells Colonel?
Colonel: Oh f*ckbollocks. Columbo: Take him away, and bury the thread, it's a goner.

Ahh, he was the red herring. His determination to kill the thread is offshot by the fact that he's useless at it

Hercule Poirot is my second favourite Belgian, after King Leopold II.

You just reminded me, I recently read somewhere that Sweden had only just officially added the letter "W" to their language.
How's that working out for you?

The letter w has been in our alphabet but I don´t think there are any swedish words that actually are spelled with w: only in names and words borrowed from other languages. There are no section for w in my swedish dictionary for instance.

Damn, I think I killed a thread I didn't want to kill. This one however, will die a horrible firey death! (One day!) Just out of interest, how exactly would you define a dead thread? (aside from being deceased, no more, an ex thread.) Would it need to be locked to be killed, would it need to fade off from the first page, or what?
I really should do some work now..... |

But since I´m a teacher I can assure you that the alphabet posters that are displayed in every first grade classroom always has included w.
