Damn, I don't have an equally fabulous outfit to go with that 'do!

A mermaid outfit like the little Mermaid Ariane. You'll have to wear twelve great pearls on your mermaid tail, too. You'll look beautiful!

For I will consider my cat Jeffrey.
For he is the servant of the living God, duly and daily serving him.
For at the first glance of the glory of dawn in the east he worships in his way.
For this is done by wreathing his body seven times round with elegant quickness.

Well, it is a Cher style 'do. I'll call my personal friend Bob Mackie to see if he can whip up something pour moi. After all, he's the one who designed many of Cher's near blindingly glam togs.

For the Mouse is a creature of great personal valour.
For this is a true case-cat takes female mouse, male mouse will not depart, but stands threat'ning and daring. . . . If you will let her go, I will engage you, as prodigious a creature as you are.
For the Mouse is a creature of great personal valour.
For the Mouse is of an hospitable disposition.

That's a wonderful poem. And so true.

That just gives me an excuse to print the full extract from Christopher Smart's Jubilate Agno, as set to music in Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb:

Quote:
For I will consider my cat Jeoffry.
For he is the servant of the living God, duly and daily serving him.
For at the first glance of the glory of God in the East he worships in his way.
For this is done by wreathing his body seven times round with elegant quickness.
For he knows that God is his saviour.
For God has bless'd him in the variety of his movements.
For there is nothing sweeter than his peace when at rest.
For I am possessed of a cat, surpassing in beauty,
From whom I take occasion to bless Almighty God.
The interesting thing about Smart's verses is how much sense they make despite the fact that he wrote them while institutionalised in a mental asylum. Truly a blurring between the boundaries of insanity and genius?

Now we just need to get you a catwalk so you can strut your stuff!

I'm sure that the work of art produced by that strange facial garb was a particularly meaningful addition to culture .

I've never done drag. People keep bothering me that I'd look great in it ( particularly my niece), but if I ever did it would be more performance art than some kind of superficial show, heh.

Insanity and Genius are but two extremes on a wide spectrum, which when wreathed into a circle will make each touch unto the other.

Erm, you seriously need to get out for fresh air regularly.

I had my window open all day, and was actually outside on the balcony taking slides of my artwork for the AP most of the day. Why?

Do you perchance live near a plastic factory?
