It's a joke on this (which in itself was based on another funny picture). And the specific comic It's from "Scandinavia and the World", which is a webcomic drawn by a Danish lady who goes by the name of Humon. The characters are actually countries, *but* based on the view of the other countries. So, Sweden is all tech savvy, Denmark is scared of animals (except squids), and Norway is all woodsy and eats rather boring food traditionally. Finland is...scary, and always has his drink to keep warm (he's my favourite! ^_^). Also, the small parts of scandinavia that used to belong to other countries are also in the comic, and might not like their current "Big brother". Keep in mind that these are not her actualy opinions of the people. It is the cliché image people in the other countries have, even if most probably know it is not true. For example, America is the standard naïvely dumb guy who is nonetheless kind of nice (he doesn't know much about Europe, but he is very...loud in appearance?). Also, sister America is a hydrogen-peroxide blonde with brown skin and huge boobs - a valley girl, I guess. And no, Germany is not portrayed as a Nazi, but actually a pretty nice guys that are always scared they might offend someone and be called a Nazi - also, Sister Germany has a lady's beard. It is really a lot of fun. Go read it! Oh, and I have been busy, but I still come here to read. So yeah, I've been watching you. -
