I've always wondered Americans, what is the difference between trash and garbage?

Garbage usually refers to food waste, while trash refers to other waste (paper, plastic, etc.).

Both words are used interchangeably, though. And both are significantly American English.
British English would use rubbish and refuse instead.

Just my two cents, though, English isn't my first language.

Feels exactly the same as before. It's a mixed bag and little good will come of it. If anything at all.

Business as usual, basically.

It was snowing here too.

Personally, I would've been happy with a couple more weeks of snowlessness. Maybe first snow around christmas.

I'd rather have snow than this horrible rain all the time.

Me neither until I saw that photo.

Apparently it is real though, although with only about a dozen left in existence and a price tag of $6,000 I think I may not be able to save up in time for Christmas!

Trash is something disposable but not absolutely refuse. As in the saying 'One man's trash is another man's treasure'.
Garbage on the other hand is something that needs to be thrown away regardless.

What, are you called Trash? Or Garbage? Or... Trash Garbage? Sounds like the name of a superhero:

"It's a car!"
"It's a bike!"
"No! It's... Trash Garbage!!"

Yeah, it does look like quite a serious damp problem.
