While mainstream researchers dismiss ancient myths as simply stories, there is a number of researchers who believe that the mythical heroes such as Hercules and Jason are in fact the result of alien-human hybrids, the aliens who were in fact the "gods" of the mythologies. So, in fact, the mythologies are all true, they just talk about aliens, instead of gods.

This I learned from a documentary the other day.

I don't know who they were interviewing, it wasn't a very... Respectable documentary. I mean, it was one of those "documentary series". I don't know what channel in America produces them.
