Well, there were a load of stories in the papers recently that boys feel too intimidated by her fame to ask her out, so just asking might work.

I prefer the Potter Puppet Pals song.

"Snape. Snape. Severus Snape."

(I love the idea of Hogwarts, and I read fan fictions of when the Marauders went, because I love them, but I can't stand Harry and that whole gang.)

No, Harry Potter is it .

I got it from Webster.

O, and what they say about the word coming from Dutch is most probably not true at all. The word 'kockeloeren' doesn't exist in Dutch. What does exist is 'koekeloeren' which means something like 'peeking.'

Yeah, I agree... most Harry/Draco slash fiction is rubbish.

Seriously guys, I haven't seen the last Harry Potter film yet, so don't spoil it for me. I've got £50 on Voldermort triumphing and reiging in terror for 1000 years. The odds on it were unbelievable!!!11!

Yeah, but that's the 1000 years thing, it's more like 952 years.

Isn't 1,000 years a long time to have to wait to see if your bet turns out OK?

Harry Potter fan fiction fans should read "My Immortal". It is a classic, so TV Tropes says.

I don't like fan fiction. If you can write fan fiction you also can create your own characters and make something totally of yourself.

Sometimes it can be good, or at least funny. You just shouldn't make your life depend on it. There's some real story ones that can be quite nice, but I usually hung out in the humourous aisle at the HP Fanfiction site. I particularly enjoyed "Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing Rat". And "Harry Potter Sings" or somesuch, which was a rather funny and absolutely not serious fanfic that was pure sillyness, featuring Harry Potter characters singing Monty Python songs. (Draco's Father sings "Every Sperm is sacred" and Draco is terrified that said the "Little Number I [Lucius] tossed off recently in the Carribbean" was a family vacation.)

Otherwise, Fanfiction really should not distract you from your own creativity. These days, if I read anything fanfiction, it's usually concerning Roleplaying games, and are usually based on an author's individual characters and not on the main plot of the actual game usually.

Hmmm, maybe, but I think it's good to have something to live for and it's important to plan ahead for your old age.

I'm inclined to sort of agree with you, there. Though I have felt a desire to write something with heavy philosophical themes that asks heavy questions about life and existence, and then make it a fan fiction of Pokemon just because it'd be funny.
