scoffed rlpw indignantly, pointing out their childish error. Clearly these shore-bound savages had been referring to the port leg, which is typically found right next to the starboard leg and is commonly identified with a small, steady red light for night navigation.

*resists urge to tell "What do you call a man with no arms and no legs...?" jokes*

Not quite

Godwin's Law - As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.

With the length of this thing, we probably passed one quite some time ago.

You can't pass a probability of one. Probabilities don't get higher than one. So we are at one now in this thread.

We've had our share of Nazi-comparisons, at least grammar-nazis...

Precisely.

And I don't see the need for more than one leg anyway.

Good, if you don't need one of your legs, do you mind if I have it? *gets chainsaw ready*

Well, if you're going to stick to that old stick-in-the-mud view of probability........

No, I think the limit of this thread infinitely approaches one.

It is true that you can find in the Encyclopédie what I would call a Statist definition of the nation because the encyclopedists give four criteria for the existence of the nation.

I am not saying that sovereignty ceased to play a role when the art of government becomes a political science.

OK guys, I must admit that I might have been a little bit hasty in some of my earlier comments.

I'm pleased to say that my legs have agreed to undergo some counselling to see if things can be worked out. Obviously some things have been said in the heat of the moment that may not have been meant but are still difficult to take back. However, if my legs do decide to go separate ways it will be painful for all involved and I'm hoping they will see that we can all get on together in a stable relationship.

They have been a great support to me over the years and carried me through some difficult times.

Trunk, as much as I and my legs like and respect you, they have decided that, whilst the offer is very flattering, they do not want a chainsaw to get between them at this difficult time. I cannot help but agree.

Talking to yourself is a sign of madness!

All right, fair enough. But if and when your legs do decide to go their separate ways, I would like to be present, if only for the opportunity to film a husky bloke doing the splits. Deal?
