You disappoint me, Mr. Lacey. (Just celebrating Festivus a little early.)

If those were the best bits of Hawk the Slayer I'm glad I missed the normal bits.

Good to see the old traditions aren't being allowed to die, especially ones that encourage you to eat, drink and be merry.

You clearly have no appreciation of the high art form that was the 1980s fantasy movie. You'll be saying you don't like Krull either next.

Of course not. Krull had The Glaive the coolest fantasy weapon ever (even if it does look like it would as hazardous to the user as it would be to his enemies)

Actually, a glaive was a medieval european polearm.

Oh well. If you're going to let a little thing like historical accuracy get in the way. You've got to admit that Prince Corwyn would have had a bit of trouble throwing one of these as if it were a boomerang.

Besides Jazzie, it's not just any glaive, it's The Glaive.

I remember begging my dad to take me to see Krull when it first came out in theaters! After seeing Kenneth Marshall more recently in Star Trek: DS9, I can't help but think, "Wow, what happened to all that wavy hair of his?!"

Glaves, Bills, and hooks were great for gutting Knight's horses so they would be grounded and easy pickings. Happy times.
