I will control the vertical. I will control the horizontal.

That was Inspector Lacey's first case, if I recall correctly.
Truly you are an afficionado of the Inspector Lacey mysteries. Because he was unknown at the time that only had a limited print run so copies are extremely rare. A great shame as it is a nice piece of character work. Especially fine is the part where Inspector Lacey puts his newly acquired promotion on the line when he realises Mr Martin is innocent (and the fallout from that which led to Inspector Lacey's hatred of him)

I hear the BBC are planning to adapt it for television with either Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Ward in the title role. I think Tom Ward would make a more convincing Inspector Lacey myself.

I'll not attempt to adjust my set for the next hour then.
Spoiler:
I have the original first series on DVD box set. I also picked up the original first series of The Twilight Zone last week

Too bad there's only a German version of the last Scary Door on Youtube (well, the actual episode, that is. The intro is there)...

Four first headlines on Yahoo's front page (not in order):
- Rapper's career in jeopardy
- Hawking: God didn't make Earth
- Mass extinctions coming?

When you overclock your phone is it the gamer or the geek that pushes you to do it?

Some of us don't bother, preferring the increased battery life over the barely-noticeable performance gain.

Or something.

Actually there was a sizable increase from 500Mhz to 1Ghz since the processor plateau is just around 3Ghz then the performance increase drops. found out I actually have better app stability at 800Mhz than I do at the standard 500. Thank you Palm for a true native Linux phone.
