No, you want smaller tubas for dancing. A regular Eb tuba is pretty danceable, but the larger ones get too heavy and unwieldy to dance with. Or maybe it's just me that's not strong enough.

In my experience, it's easier to play while moving/bouncing in place than it is standing still. Then again, apparently my Eb sousaphone is heavier than some BBb instruments.
