Oh boy, I've seen a student do that with a presentation. It was the worst presentation I ever saw by far. Because he was in a group of three, and each of them had to make a part of the presentation, he was thrashed verbally by one of the other two students.

No, thank goodness, I was like you and usually started term papers the night before too! (I never took the school bus, the scenario above was inspired by a skit from You Can't Do That on Television.) I was diligent with my research though, y'know, back in the days before that interweb thingy was widely available.
