I find about 80% of the population complete morons.

(And people dress uglier by the day. Sheesh...)

Okay, how about this: 80% of people are probably absolutely fascinating and insightful once you get to know them, but present a facade of boring groupthink-inspired idiocy to the wider world, which makes it hard for the other 20% to get to know them in the first place.

I think 80% of people just don't think. If they did, they'd get along great with the other 20%.

I find that when I'm unable to get on with people, it's invariably me that's at fault.

I just had to tie my roommate's tie. He's useless.

Well, it was also my tie, since he goes to interviews but doesn't even have the proper clothes. He's pretty much incompetent.

You know, somehow this will be all my fault. I don't know how yet, but I'm positive it will be.

Won't I look silly?

Like, if I go around looking at people with one eye closed, or upside down, or my head tilted or something...

Spoiler:
And besides, I'm fine with the way I see things ("that's the way a-ha, a-ha, I like it..."). And also, that was part of the charm of the mandatory army. Of all the things that you get out of it (basically completely negative, quite negative or somewhat negative), one of them is you get to see how many and what kind of people there are outside the usual circles (in a large sense) and usually how utterly disgusting (or at least unpleasant) they tend to be (I'm serious, it's unbelievable what kind of people you get to see when everyone is put into the same place)

I see what you're doing there. You're trying to get us to blame you for everything so eventually we'll all blame you for the thread dying.

Very cunning, Mr Lacey, very cunning indeed.

That sounds like fun. I imagine going around thinking you're better than almost everyone else can be satisfying in a way, but it sounds more depressing than fun to me.
