I think my killing of the thread should be mentioned along with Laceys denial.
Infact that could be a 3 verse sonnet all on its own! An epic tale of lost love and broken bonds.

Nameless eons ago, Scarjaw Hiro, the evil wizard from the gloom-isle to the north, cast courier spirits into the wind, dispersing them to all the lands, with a message of diabolic intent. He invited brave men and their womenfolk to take on an impossible quest, promising the victor anything he desired. Aye, this quest was to destroy a dragon that Hiro had birthed via the dark arts, from his very soul.
The beast, at first no bigger than a piece of thread, grew larger and more fierce with each attack it sustained. Indeed it fed on such attacks, and could only be killed by starvation. It was foretold that only an act horrific enough to keep other warriors at bay for three days, would kill this abominable creature. Against all odds, a young knave triumphed. He made passionate love to the dragoness for four nights and three days of high sexual performance. She died of pleasure. The wizard, being psychically linked to the creature, had meant for this to happen all along, and finally experienced joys unimaginable, as if in the body of a woman. Alas, he also died, before dispensing the reward. An occasional warrior still threads this scorched country, and lands a blow on the festering dragon flesh, as if to pay tribute to all who fought and died at her tooth and claw. It has been said that somehow, she grows still. Some believe the wizard, reborn, will one day emerge from her, and bestow his long forgotten gift.

Someone in the next post had better portray me in some work of fiction, be it prose, poetry or otherwise or they'll have Giles Brandreth to answer to!!

"Hammerite waited. The banner ads above him blinked and sparked out of the page.
There were threads in the forum. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Robert Lacey were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway. Hammerite was a forum regular for six years. When he was young he watched the posters and he said to dad "I want to be on the forums daddy." Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY THREADS" There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the chit chat forum of the Adventure Gamers he knew there were threads. "This is Karmillo" the radio crackered. "You must fight the threads!" So Hammerite gotted his keyboard and blew up the post. "HE GOING TO KILL US" said the threads "I will update at him" said the Threadâ„¢ and he emailed the subscription. Hammerite posted at him and tried to blew him up. But then the post count grew and they were trapped and not able to kill. "No! I must kill the threads" he shouted The radio said "No, Hammerite. You are the threads" And then Hammerite was a post."

NO, now stop asking, you nosy twit! (I've temporarily put my game queue on hold too... for some reason, I'm playing them randomly, in addition to replaying Dreamfall. BTW, Grim Fandango is my regular November replay game, y'know to coincide with Day of the Dead.)
I promise I'll finish Nostradamus before Hammy posts a pic of himself! Now, about the Blackstone Chronicles novel synopses...

Of course, this was probably around the time I didn't even get a birthday thread... I'm guessing I had constant "go away" threads here that the mods would just remove before I was able to read them. I sure showed you all! And I love the grammatical accuracy. |
