Not quite what I was going for. I was reading an interview with the creator of M*A*S*H and a character, and the creator was actually able to put astericks in his spoken words.

I'm saying television comedy names, actually.

Hello, darling!

The Catcher in the Pie
*

In this poorly thought-out sequel, Holden Caulfield is imprisoned in a giant pie and he has to catch frisbees as they fly towards him, all the while trying to rescue Phoebe from the clutches of an evil sorcerer.
Why this sequel was conceived at all confounds me and makes me question not only the existence of God but the existence of all things - including this keyboard, are any of these keys real?
The space bar - is that real?
The shift key - is that real?
The right-hand Ctrl and Alt keys - they can't be real, why else would I NEVER USE THEM?

Hey Hammy! "Darling", aww that's so sweet of you!

And hey Squinky! I'm sorry about your car, on top of you being sick.

The Catcher in the Fly
*

J.D. Salinger would be spinning in his grave if he were dead, which incidentally may be a direction he will wish to go in after witnessing this new sequel.
Basically, Holden invents a matter transporter but gets in with a fly.

Nuff said.

A "Lord of the Rings" dream and a "M*A*S*H" dream the same night?! Awesome!
