Julio doesn't like forums. They cramp his style.

What's wrong with that? It's just the deck above the cabin and pee is the seventeenth letter of the alphabet.

Isn't a moment too long for that?

That is a sentence it would be so wrong to take out of context.

Way to sell the PS3 experience Gil. Choose the most deep and intellectually stimulating game you can find.

This is the film of Giligan's life. As usual, Hollywood have messed up on one of the key parts of the story.

Yeah, rolling those dice over and over gets really boring after a while.

Dice are so much better when they're twenty-sided.

Yay another person who has morrowind on their netbook I do find it a bit difficult to play though with the small keyboard. You get eight hours from one battery charge??? how many cellls does your battery have? I can only get 2 out of mine at the max although I still wouldn't be found anywhere without it

Anyone seen the adverts for the new lady robot "personal" companions? They have great endorsements from happy customers.

Three nights and days me sail the sea
Me think of girl constantly
On the ship I dream she there
I smell the rose in her hair

Do you always recognize him? Or have you already developed the same kind of eye as Donald (recognition by a mosquito bite for example)?

Well, I say eight. The computer itself claims 9.5 hours (it's an Eee PC 1000HE), but that would require me to turn off every available option and still get lucky. Since it underclocks the processor when on battery power by default, I have indeed been able to use it for several hours without a problem, though it makes games like Morrowind a bit jerky. For reference, it's a 6-cell battery, and with it underclocking itself I was able to get a good six or so hours of use even though I spent the entire time doing what I would describe as heavy use of the computer (downloading and installing stuff, copying stuff over from an external hard drive, and testing Morrowind).

As for actually playing Morrowind, I've just copied over my old saved games, since I never finished the game when I played it on my desktop. I find the keyboard okay, though the Eee PC's trackpad isn't particularly good for first-person 3D stuff. Still, that's what my portable mouse is for. Incidentally, I notice that I last saved a game in 2006. I sense that I'm going to have to spend a good half hour trawling through my in-game journal just to have some semblance of what's going on. But hey, if I get lost, at least I'll be able to discover stuff again!

Incidentally, what settings are you using for the game? I downloaded some tools that reduced the texture sizes and audio quality in order to increase performance, and I find it perfectly playable now, but if you have any further tips they'd be appreciated.

With all the discussion recently, here's a chance to spill my deepest figurative guts too.

But I won't.

I guess.

Anybody could be reading. Anybody could know who I am.

They're watching.
