You know you've been working on something too long when you find it hilarious that you wrote "screenshits" instead of "screenshots".

Ah, the joys of being an "only child": On trips, the entire back seat was MINE! Both rear windows, the armrest, the floorboard... mine. And being a child of the "seatbelt-optional" 1970s, as long as I kept all parts of my body inside the car and didn't block the view rearward, I could sit or lay in any position I found comfortable. Since I also don't suffer from car-sickness, I had no problem reading in the back seat, usually either car magazines or sci-fi novels.
So for me, rather than "Are we there yet?" it was usually "Oh, we're there already?".

Have you ever wondered if a site really existed and then severely regretted finding out?
Any particular authors? (I'm thinking more the sci-fi novels than the car magazines here)

Ah, the memories of the kids back when they we around 3-5 y/o. After about half an hour of a 10 hour drive they would start asking that question.
To make the journey easier to understand we then compared each hour in the car with the fingers of the hands. 1h= one finger and we could show them how many fingers there were left until we were there. After that, the question from the back seat was How many fingers are there left?
