I know. It renders me speechless as well.

Heck I it's fairly high here too. Let's see, I have 4 phones with 1400 mins shared and 1 of them has a data plan. With 20% off business discount it is still almost $200 monthly.

My dad refuses to sign up for a contract phone plan, for some reason known only to him. He makes me use one of those Tracfones deals where you pay as you use the minutes.

I had one of those until about last summer or whereabouts. Now, I just have a really cheap phone plan, which nevertheless is a way better deal than pay as you go.

My guess would be because a TracFone makes one conscious of exactly how much time one spends on a cell phone, and also makes one more judicious about using his or her cell phone when a regular phone would serve just as well.

Pay As You Go is way more popular in Europe than in the US (as is texting). Personally, since I only use mobiles in emergencies, a contract would be a huge waste of money.

If I didn't have unlimited texting on my plans my family would break me.
I have to be accessible to our customers at all hours every third week. Which is also the reason I have to have a data package.

Well, yeah, but that means I can't have a cool phone like an iPhone.

Yeah, Fantasypants.
Haven't you heard of Squinkypants? (Although I prefer to call her Squinks) Adding pants to a name is quite common around here.

Actually, the usual suffix would be "-sie": Howvery, "Fantasysie" is a bit awkard, so the more recent suffixes come into play. "-kins" as introduced by Squinkypoo, and "-pants"...which I think might have also been introduced by Squinky

Exceptions exist. I am sometimes called "Jazzafrazz" too. Though "Jaz" is more common. "rlpw" is known as "Daddy" and "Paul", Jelena/Jelensie is "Mom", and Robert is called "Tiberius/Tibs/Tibsie" (usually by me.), and "Hunk" (also by me, and usually I am in return called "Chick". Long story.)

Also, the fact that it is *not* possible to clone dinosaurs from the blood inside a mosquito ecapsuled inside a piece of amber is quite comforting. Aren't we lucky that dinosaurs were already extinct by the time the Amber forests were there? However, we are not really quite that lucky, because of the time of the Amber forests there were terror birds - giant, flightless, and *carnivorous* birds, that would consider humans just the right size for a small snack, and easily to pick too. Imagine a bigger than life ostrich with a beaks head, that not only can break your leg with a kick, but also bite off your head. The man holding the lecture about amber did say one shouldn't try outrunning them, because they would catch you in less than one stride, but climbing trees would be a good idea, since they likely were rather bad at climbing (which reminds me of a joke on how to tell bears apart: Grizzlies shake you off the tree. Black bears climb up towards you. )

I have been called, strangely enough, Phantasy. But I just prefer "Fantasy", or Katie.
