I'm a gun nut with razor-sharp wit and I haven't even killed it yet. You haven't any hope.

Killing a puppy dog and removing its eyes won't help to kill the thread...

... it just killed a small part of your former, non-dog slaughtering self.

Aww, don't cry. You'll stain the carpet, and we can't have that.

Really, though, you won't kill the thread. I do suggest hanging around and making a few thousand posts, though. The more the merrier.

By all means, try to kill it. Trying is good. We've all done the trying thing, but then, we've all failed.

Okay, I've got a question for those of you who are UK English speakers: what is the correct spelling for the present participle of "edit"? I'm asking because I'm pretty sure it's "editing", whereas a dear friend of mine keeps insisting that "editing" is US English and "editting" is UK English, and it's been bugging me forever.

The latter is insane, but knowing the Brits, they probably did throw in a completely unecessary letter.

Brits are not cool, my dear.

Swedish/German/Scottish-Americans, on the other hand, are awesome.

Nu-uh! Brits are the coolest, even over my own homeland, the United States! lol I mean, those accents, their ways of doing things and eating things, their quaint way of life. <3
