You don't know these days, what with the threats of recession, terrorism and Russell Brand.

Great, now I've spent like 2½ hours in a thread (in another forum), in two posts, arguing about why tax increases to support the poor isn't socialism.
Against someone who never actually gave one actual fact to support it, just the fact that she lived in Cuba and knows what it's like to live under socialism and doesn't want to go back to socialism. *Bang* El Thread es muerta. Or, *La explosión* El Hilo de Rosca es muerta. |

I found out something very awesome about Fallout 3. The facial features of the player character's father are adjusted according to the facial features of the player character. It of course makes sense that they'd have a set model for each ethnic background (there's Caucasian, Asian, African American [don't argue that "Just because they're black they're not automatically African American". The game is set in America, and I somehow doubt they'd have people from somewhere else flown in to be placed in one of the vault, duh. ] and Hispanic), but I wouldn't have imagined that they could actually have the father's look adjust according to the player characters facial features.
Here's my character Lelene again, and her father for comparison: Quote:

Let's have tax increases to support the rich instead.

You know what? The whole world would be better off if a couple of nukes were dropped on Somalia. Seriously, if that country ceased to exist, we'd all be the better for it.
Jaz, you didn't know about the facial features/father thing? That's like, old news. |

Well, I didn't have a second James to compare him to my Lelene's father, did I? And I didn't see *you* posting anything about that old fact either. -

Well, it was such old news, I thought everyone knew. I mean, that'd be like suddenly saying "The ocean is deep!" Because then they'd be like, "Uh... yeah, eveyone knows that."

The ocean is deep? Why has no-one told this before?!?!??!!??!!
Actually, isn't that a sweeping generalisation? It's pretty shallow at the edges.
