Whoever posts right after me is a nerd, a loser, a lowlife, an a**hole, and a reject.

Hey, no matter how low I drag it, I can always better myself Already this morning I've had a lengthy discussion about bestiality porn with my flatmate. He brought the subject up by the way.

And speaking of limbos, we've got a limbo competition at work today! Better get into practice.

Was that the name of the two lame detectives?

Tsk, why on earth did they have to translate the names? (they're supposed to be Dupond and Dupont).

It was indeed. They were Thompson and Thomson in the English version.

And Janssen and Janssen in the Dutch Still, I loved Tintin, still own all of them, including the 'adult' ones, surprisingly funny if your mind is dirty enough

Because they wanted English names that still worked with that joke .

To this day I have no idea why they called the dog Snowy, though...

As for Tintin, I sadly don't own the whole collection of books (though I have a fair number of them). It's just that I've been watching the cartoon series they made of the books that were available in English at the time in the early 1990s.

This thread sucks, and so does everyone who posts after me! You make me sick!

(That all excludes the possibility of me posting, as always)

Well, yes, but what I meant was that I don't know why the changed the name of the dog rather than keeping the original Belgian/French name .

He does swear just as much as I do during footy games and computer games. We were thinking of having a swear jar, but we'd be skint after a week.

My mum rather imaginatively named her cat Snowy cos it's white. Better than Cumstain I guess
