In the UK a semi is a type of house, so obviously its not your fault if there's a house in the middle of the highway.

Secondly, it depends how nearly "nearly" is, exactly how at fault you were, and the nature of any expenses incurred.
Nearly, as in I nearly hit the guy in the side, but he got away, the wily driver that he was. I would have been 100% at fault had I survived, but fortunately, the only expense was to my nerves.

Maybe I'm just not cut out for this driving thing.

So what, a semi house is only partly a house?

Bah, Meester Giligan, you make big mountain out of tiny molehill!

If there's no damage to the car, no police report, no insurance claim, then there's no need to inform the parental units!

Driving is for chumps, I haven't been behind the wheel of a car for years. My mother forced me to take lessons when I turned 17, claiming it was an important skill I'd need. Suffice it to say the day I passed my test was the last time I've ever driven a car.

No, it's only partly your house, because you share a common wall with the guy next door.

There. Now you can lock the thread, world-renowned and extraordinarily talented poet and accountant with the great facial hair and awesome shirt.

Oh, trust me, I wouldn't. The only thing they need to hear is whatever benefits me. Or at least causes me the fewest problems

I'd like to do the same, but sooner or later I'm going to have to drive somwhere.

Ah yes, I've seen pictures of those. Funny little red brick thingies with tiny enclosed backyards. Quaint.

It amuses me deeply that you pathetic, insignificant people think it's even remotely likely that you might be the ones to kill the Thread™.

Only I will have that honour. You get it? ME. JUST ME. So you might as well stop trying.

DIE, THREAD™!

I deserve a prize for getting post 30,000, and I think that prize should be the killing of the Thread™.

No wonder he supported Boris Johnson, then. I smell a conspiracy of conservatives with bad hairstyles!

People who think that only SJH* can kill the Thread™ should not be employed.

* Who I invariably always keep mistaking for SSH.

I was gonna kill this Thread™,
but I got high.
I was gonna make it totally dead,
but I got high.
Now you're all mocking me here,
and I know why:
because I got high, because I got high,
because I got high.
