No, but the name did strike me as odd when I looked it up in the dictionary. (It was not one of the animals I knew the English name of.)

I had to look the "greates achievement" one up, but only because they were equally as likely. But I could have just as well asked my father, as he's been reading Perry Rhodan for as long as I can remember. Quote:

Yay, I'm not the only one who knows what a Theremin is. ^_^ Am I the only one who wants to learn how to play one, though? I want to have a try at it first before I buy one, though. Eliot Finthushel playing "Reverie" on Theremin. Pornotology? O.o Quote:

Go to the site, and you can enter the monthly contest and win some of them (and other stuff, like games. And each time you enter counts towards the end of year draw, where you can win a gaming console). And yes, you *do* actually win stuff there. I entered, and won once already (and yes, I did receive my price. Sadly, I've already used them all up. And you only have to send in your address once your name has been drawn, so don't worry), as did Karasu when he entered. So yeah, go and enter. It's awesome! Quote:

^_^ Or driving over people in the MAKO. Much fun too. Or driving into un-anchored watchtowers so the sentries fall down. Yay! Did I mention I love the MAKO? I want one for everyday use. ^_^ -

I've never understood how three guys fit into that tiny little MAKO.

Well, the description of the MAKO *does* state it's rather tight quarters in there and that three people only just fit in there. I'd assume that three people fit in there just as three people might fit into a tank. Which is "only just". Also, I imagine the thing is larger than it looks. If you haven't played it yet I can take a picture of Garrus standing beside the MAKO in the garage. The thing is *huge*. Sure, it's mostly wheels, but you're not supposed to stand inside the thing. Sitting should be no problem. How Wrex (the Krogan) would fit in when it's already supposed to be cramped for three human sized passengers eludes me though. -

Time lord technology....It's bigger on the inside.
The Mako has 15 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a ballroom inside.

Even more reason for me to want one. That ballroom would be an ideal place for me to practice flying my RC helicopter in. -

Yeah, and we don't tip them either, as far as I know. Mostly because in my area the only cows you'll find are in stables, and the places where you'd find cows on pastures is areas where tipping a cow would make the cow tumble down the mountainside it was standing on, likely ending up in creating an avalanche. -

We only tip cows for excellent service and then no more than 5%.

I've got two. Tiny ones, about the length of my palm from front to back, so they're electric. They're only for inside use, as they'd easily be swept away by the wind. But the fact they're so tiny makes them just more awesome, in my eyes. Though I'd love to have a big one too, which I could fly in the outside (There's actually a Model plane flying place just outside town, so maybe one day I'll have one.). Here's a video of one which looks to be the same model. I've got a long way to go to be as good at flying mine, though. Hence the ballroom, as right now I keep on flying into things when trying make it take off. Good thing, that despite filigrane construction (other models are basically closed plastic, but this more realistic one held a bigger appeal for me.) of this model, they are amazingly robust when it comes to flying into things. Or maybe it *is* because the things are rather lightweight and small. I always loved RC toys, even as a kid. I didn't care it was considered a boy's toy, I just love driving the things. I was so happy when I got an RC toy one christmas, even if it wasn't perfect. It was an unremarkable, regular car - not one of those you see on TV, that can drive on its head or stuff like that. Just a car with four wheels, and a classic shape - and a start number. About two years later I got another one. A little Jeep that was pretty realistic too. This one had an added "twist", if you forgive the pun: The axes of its wheels were rather closely set, giving it an extremely small turning radius - nearly on the spot, in fact (but only "nearly"). That resulted in some funky and fun driving. I still have that one standing around somewhere. I always dreamed of having an R/C toy that could fly, too, but I imagined them to be pretty expensive (which the big ones usually are), and considering I had no option of getting it to the Model plane flying place as a kid, it definitely was too much seeing as it would see relatively little use. But when I saw these little babies over at ThinkGeek at a price of 30 $ for two helicopters, I just had to get them. And they're really great. -

Today I shall mostly be mailing anthrax to my enemies.
Does anyone know where I could procure some? Biological warfare isn't exactly my field of expertise.
