That depends on whether it improves your sex life.

Well I did get laid last night, so maybe it had a retroactive effect.

I've heard of people voting with their feet before but never with THAT part of the anatomy.

I love British politicians. Some great moments in today's debate... such as one politician that tried to justify breaking a manifesto commitment on the grounds that it was a party manifesto rather than an individual one, and so individuals clearly weren't bound to everything within it.

Now I feel cheated, politicians here never say anything about these "manifestos".

I'm quite apathetic about Canadian politics.

I love the way that anti-Europeans always want to have a referendum against anything European. It's because they know they can stir up xenophobia easier in the unwashed masses than they can in the Houses of Parliament!

I just got a very insulting email that someone forwarded to me, it implies that Americans eat more Doritos and soda than the peoples of any other country!

That's because all Americans are the same, just like how all Europeans are the same.

See, now you've played straight into his dirty little nationalist hands!

I'd say something to that, but I'm having difficulty staying awake. But, um, generalisations must be true, no matter how much anyone hates them, because people who generalise are all the same, or something.

Nah, that's only true for minority groups.

It's not a generalisation, it's statistics! I don't know what's supposed to be insulting about it. So what if Americans eat more of that stuff? Am I missing something here?

Well, junk food and soda aren't the most nutritious examples of food and drink, so obviously the person who originally wrote the email was inferring that Americans are unhealthier than the rest of the world. Or so it could be concluded.
