Oh, and BTW - what I have bolded above? Misspelled and it's two words - tsk-tsk - Have to give you a C in English. Also Mom and French should both be capitalized. They are proper nouns. You could say my mother, and that is not a proper noun but a descriptive word for the role she plays.

In other words - before you criticize others, make sure your own work is perfect.

But, but.. those were typos! And I wasn't even trying! 42 years huh? In that case, pretty impressive It wasn't criticism, as much as me being "funny" (not funny, "funny" ). Though I didn't know Mom was to be written capitalized, thanks!

I used to hate my German teacher for correcting my every spelling error, especially capitalization (To this day, I don't understand why Germans go mental with capitalization ).

And I was just ragging on Robbie about him saying that no one here had any French culture - even if I was the one who first teased him about fin being the dorsal or ventral fin of a fish. I did study French culture, though long ago, and felt the need to express it en français.

Yes, presumptuousness should not go 'unrewarded' (neither should snobbery). I myself had studied French and a bit of the culture back in high school. I have also travelled to Paris three times - France, really (ventured out to Giverny).

Don't take it too hard, av. You rarely come into Chit Chat so you don't know that that whole thing is currently a white hot topic in here.

Lynsie, I hope you understand that as well.

Yeah I know, but in retrospect I should have realised it might have been a touchy subject. I'm actually part of a heated debate on another forum.....

Forgiven I knew you meant no harm, but such a joke can easily be taken the wrong way.

I'm so going to get that full keyboard when it comes out. Haven't quite figured out yet what I'll use it for, but then again, thesame goes for most of my gadgets

No need to get a new keyboard. You just need to learn the numpad codes .

Nah, I forgive ya

Btw, which Mohammed you talkin' about? I think there's like billions of Mohammed in this world. I had three five Mohammeds in my class back in high school, so it'd better be the annoying one!

Trep, I thought I WAS being understanding - otherwise I would have reported it to a mod for deletion.

As far as using the numpad codes - I always used to use those, but they're different on this PC, and the character map is very easy to use.

BTW - note the three characters referred to in the bottom left corner.
