So when is it New Years for you, in terms of GMT, I don't know what timezone the Sandwich Islands are in?

GMT minus 10, I think. It's about 4:30 PM or so right now.

Why would one be in Hawaii on New Years?

According to Google, some answers to that question are:

"I am here because…"

"…of the music."
"…I am anxious."
"…I wanna know about my dreams."
"…my friends asked me not to forget them and to tell Canadians about Burma when I got home."
"…I have deluded myself into the belief that taking a picture is easier than writing 1000 words."
"…They Were There."
"…I see science as the means by which God created the universe."
"…my genes have so dictated."
"…I want to be here."
"…I am a passionate addict who loves to write."
"…of a series of gifts and blessings given to me by many."
"…I have stuff to do and I am trying to get it done."
"…my home is here."

Google also has some reasons to visit Hawaii:

"I went to Hawaii because…"

"… I had heard so much about it being a virtual paradise, and THAT it was."
"… I was desperately in need of a vacation."
"… I love the sand, the sun, and the surf"
"… I felt that in Laguna Beach (where I had been living) there were too many people around. I needed to be alone"
"… I found a cheap. flight and because Hawaii has hostels."

Google only returns one result for "Thread™-killer", though...

"RLacey."

Are we sure Robert hasn't deluded himself into the belief that killing the thread is easier than writing 1000 words?

The browser I am using to view this is currently called "Pervy Lightningllama", which needless to say, made me laugh quite a lot.

Seriously, this "Firesomething" Add-on for Firefox brings me no end of fun.
