You know, your name always reminds me of some kind of drum enthusiast.

Not if you factor in the fact that a bassoon is also known as a "fagott" in certain languages.

But in fact, if you factor in the fact of logical combination of words, it would become Trumfagott.

No, no, no. The last syllable of "trumpet" has been cut, so so must the first syllable of "fagott". Ha.

Gripe of the Day: The characters in CQ3 totally look like crap, whereas they didn't when I originally drew them. Maybe it's the juxtaposition of the highly-detailed backgrounds, or maybe it's the AGS engine and/or shoddy last-minute programming therein. Either way, I could have done a far better job if I'd written the whole game by myself, to the point where I'm almost reluctant to advertise my contribution to its current incarnation. Even various forum members hate the characters I drew, as well. Bah.

The last syllable, and the first syllable?

...

Feeling a bit anal-retentive today, are we?

In Swedish, there is a good answer to that comment: "Jag är trumpetare, inte trum-petare." (I'm a trumpeter, not a drum-poker.) But the truth is that I actually am some kind of drum enthusiast, too.

Regarding the derivation of my alias, Squinky is correct. The name actually started its life as a password, but has followed me as my internet name for as long as I've had internet access. Besides my real name, it's the only name I've used online, and as far as I know I'm the only one that's used it. (A fact which makes it easy to find embarrassing things I've done if you want to. But on the plus side, it gives me a unique online identity.)

I have no idea what Freudian slippers are, should it be a cause for concern for me?

Yes, those look like something an anal-retentive person would wear.
