And trust me, it's not as much fun as all those megalomaniacs make it out to be. Lots of paperwork. Quote:
I really don't know why so many Americans like milk chocolate and don't appreciate dark chocolate. I mean, I'm not complaining. After all, there's too many people blind to the wonders of dark chocolate over here too. But at least there's also ones that appreciate dark chocolate. Of course dark chocolate is more bitter. Chocolate is not sweet, it only gets so if you add sugar. But naturally, chocolate is bitter. -

I'm sure you didn't mean it like that, but that does sound like you're advocating euthanising the visually impaired...

Whoops, I didn't mean it that way indeed. I meant people blind to the wonders of dark chocolate. I'll have to correct that. -

That's because you haven't tried this yet:
It's made of the Criollo bean from Venezuela (65% cocoa) and is made in Switzerland by Felchlin. It's divine!

Speaking of Dark Chocolate...it's a lie that woman prefer sweeter, milk chocolate.
Or maybe it just emphasises the fact that I had awesome classmates in the International School. On my Graduation class's bonding trip, we girls were sharing one room (only 5 girls in my class). I had brought some dark chocolate, and when I got it out, everyone was really excited and said they loved the stuff. I of course offered them some, and they gladly took it. And that was the really dark stuff, "Santo Domingo" with 85% cacao, and "Sao Thomé" with 75% and pure chocolate bean splinters. Delicious! -

I don't like dark chocolate. But that is because I have poor taste.

If you really want to learn about chocolate, search out a specialized shop and ask for help. I once was at a chocolate tasting arranged by such a store, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. There is much more to fine chocolates than just the percentage, you know. I still don't eat much chocolate, or remember much about the different qualities, but it was really fascinating to hear about the world of cacao. And great to taste it!

My sister recently went to an arrangement like that in Stockholm at Chokladfabriken. That's where I got the bar of fabulous chocolate I've mentioned twice now here in chit chat.
