It's quite interesting how each forum section has a select group of forumites that visit that forum section (almost) exclusively.
For example, posters in "Chit-chat" are for the most part old timers with 1,000 posts or more. Posters in "General" are old pros with 3,000 posts or more, and people who post in "Adventure" have less than 100 posts and no avatars. Am I the only one that's noticed this?

Also, the chit-chat section doesn't recieve new recruits. The members have all been around for years and years. Naturally, it's impossible for people to exist here wihout coming here, but we can conlude only an internet big bang.

That happens because Chit Chat tends to be more insular and the vast majority of topics don't necessarily appeal to everyone (except the movie and music ones perhaps). Also, I remember Spiwak saying he didn't even realize it was there until someone pointed it out to him.
If they don't make it down to Chit Chat, it isn't that big of a deal to me. I'd rather see them in the gaming forums. |
