Other people posted. If nobody replies to this thread after this post (ie. if I win the competition) then the end will be forthcoming.

You do realise that's not gonna happen for at least a few months right? Unless there's a maximum thread size or one of the mods finally gets the hint and locks it.

I'm surprised, and disappointed, nobody tried to bribe the mods into locking the thread after they post. At least not me.

Guys/gals, give up while your reputation is still intact. You can't win, so it's better to walk out on a high.

Your story had an ending anyway, I just saw it as an open ending

What game is this pic from? It seems to have killed the adventure game scene thread

Well, the plot actually comes in several parts, of which I've supplied only the opening entry.

So, for every day that people don't post other stuff here I'll add a "chapter" to the story...

Unless you guys let me win, I'm going to start posting a badly translated version of Das Kapital one page at a time. Hell, I enjoyed reading it when I was in college but I tried to reread it recently and got bored after reading a few pages. You do not want to be reading " a very large treatise of political economy written by Karl Marx in German. The book is a critical analysis of capitalism, its economic practices and the theories which economists made about it (from Wikipedia)" now do you? So people let me win.

Well, if it's an English translation then I probably ought to read it...

OK, I'll tell you all about the Great Cat Massacre in France if nobody else posts. And that includes you, gilly .
