That's because we all watch cooking programmes on television, and know it's a way of preparing a chicken.

Randomness makes me uneasy and it will definitely kill this thread. *shudders*

It's not really a way of preparing a chicken, but rather a manner. And I doubt most people can actually prepare a spatchcock in the traditional sense, unless they breed chickens or hunt (and eat what they hunt immediately): Spatchcock spach'kok, v or n (English, probably from dispatch and cock) To insert into a text too hurriedly or inappropriately; a fowl stuffed and cooked immediately after killing. - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

You have omitted the most important part of what makes a spatchcock what it is, the fact that the chicken is split down the back and flattened, prior to cooking.

I used to have a laptop that liked doing that. Turned out it was overheating.

You should never leave the battery plugged in all the time. To maintain proper functioning, you sometimes have to allow it to decharge properly and completely, otherwise it will gradually be able to store less and less energy. Also, for mobile phone batteries, even if you are not using them, you should never leave them uncharged for too long. If you don't charge them for too long, they will one day no longer be able to hold charge. Same might also be for laptop batteries. - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
