Seriously. I own the DVD. In fact, I'm on the verge of popping it in right now just to see them sing the song.

I like the grouch song

or the count "All I want for christmas is my two front teeth"

What the article does't say is that it used to be Spain's Xmas, but now most kids celebrate Xmas since it's earlier and the really spoiled kids want presents on BOTH days!

We usually have a parade that day where people dressed up as the three wise men toss candy to the kiddies...

A few weeks ago one of the main tabloids in Finland had a story entitled "Yksi kuudesta pettää pikkujouluissa", which means (if my English isn't horribly sloppy) "One out of six people cheats on their spouses at a Christas Party". Though debateable, that should tell you what kind of a party it is... Sad, really.

I see. So "Little Christmas" separates the drinking, partying, rowdy aspect of Christmas from the religious holiday aspect. In a lot of ways that seems much neater, and it allows one to spend "Little Christmas" with their friends and regular Christmas with their family. Also, depending on one's preference, it let's one know which gathering to skip. I rather like the idea.
