Default Taking a trip the Kate Walker way (a.k.a. SquareJaw and Mira get it on)

This is it folks!

Got to admit, got preflight nerves. Squarejawhero Does Russia. Not long now before I have to get up astoundingly early and take a trip over Europe and land with both feet on frosty ground.

I'm apprehensive, yet excited. It's my first solo trip abroad to somewhere really, REALLY foreign outside of the EU, and even though the lovely, and very beautiful, Mira is waiting on the other side, I'm still confused as to how I'm feeling! I've got so much on my mind... I'm almost COUNTING the things that could go wrong... but on the other hand, I'm looking forward to discovering exactly who I am and how I'm going to handle it. Plus, it'll be an adventure to talk about, if anything.

Bags are packed, fish and snail are being looked after, and although I won't make it to Syberia I'm going to be near-as-dammit!

Wish me luck folks.

I'll be posting any updates on this thread when I get there... if all goes well, that is! Passport loss notwithstanding!

Mira, one bit of advice for you - your hand is very capable of delivering a precise, well aimed, painful slap. Use it on the face or the ass, depending on the desired effect and the situation.

Have good time. And remember, you're the host. If the guest misbehaves or disrespects, kick his pasty white ass out of Russia.

I wish I can wish Squaresie a good trip and lots of fun but I just can't bring myslef to do it. I'm too jealous.

Have a great time guy and make sure you give Mira that hug you promised me. Boy, Mira's going to be hugged to death when Squaresie gets there. I'd be scawed, Mira, vewy, vewy, scawed.

LOL thanks people!

I've literally had no sleep and feel like crap right now, it's dark and bucketing it down with rain outside so hard you wouldn't believe. I've got to get to the other side of London and I live on a hill 10 minutes walk from the station.

is all I can say!

Thanks be it's too cold to rain in Moscow. Hopefully.

A. If you're a nervous flyer, then staying up the night before will make it easier to sleep on the plane.
B. If airports in the UK are like airports in the US, they're always a few degrees above the temperature comfort zone so you'll dry off soon enough.
C. You're starting off on the first leg of a real-life adventure...ENJOY IT!

Snow can be fun. Dress warmly and have a great trip.
