Never been to Idle Thumbs, so I wouldn't know. I'm curious if I should.

Go visit. I love their articles (informative and incredibally funny) and Kingzjester's sketches for the articles are very cool. Don't miss their quote of the moment either.

Edit: I've read their forums and you can't say one is better than the other because they each have a different flavor. I also read the articles here at AG (obviously).

why can't the forums be viewed? what happened at idle thumbs?

I have no clue Lynsie. I went to Lebanon and they were closed. And the answers I got weren't any help

My theory is that the quality of the discussion was so low and the people were so bitchy that the forum just regurgitated everyone out...

Anyway, I voted for Advneture Gamers Forums.

The forums are kind of back up. You can comment on all that is Jack Thompson by clicking on the story links in one post (or lurk..).:)

They don't show as being up for me.

There isn't a direct link to the forums but on the last news item of Oct. 20, if you click on one of those links, it'll take you there so you can comment on the news stories. But I don't think the full forums are back up.

This can be like GameFaqs, now, where people look for tentatively-related news items in order to hold off-topic discussions somewhere :D.
