So... what is there to do in Russia?
It looks like a distinct possibility that I could end up tripping over to Russia to throw snowballs at people in Moscow whilst giggling like a schoolgirl and re-enact the German defeat at old Leningrad using chocolate peanuts, now known as St Petersberg. Not the peanuts, the place.
So... what should I be doing when I get there? Any museums or galleries people recommend? Places to eat, drink and be merry? Any particular Vodka I should be trying, any places to avoid, food to eat, food to leave untouched... places I simply have to go to? Of course, I've got my own reasons to go there... but I want to hear more! MORE! BWAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAAAA *coff* haargh... ... and yes, THIS time, my friends, I will not lose my passport! Because it's right here! ... ... ... phew, here it is.

You can play with puppies and buy meat from the old women who sell it out of strollers.

Is this your knife?
LOL... it was a bit far fetched to think I was going to get any genuine responses. I haven't laughed so much since the last time I did. Seriously, I've got a holiday due. Either there or Japan... both have excellent reasons to go to!

Also you have to check out some of the Metro stations, they have to be seen to be believed. |

Yowzer. Makes the ones in Paris look normal and the ones in London look like toilet rolls.
So, essentially you're recommending looking at freaks and loitering in tube stations? Any good latrines there?

Birthday Girl (2001)
Internet love connections and mail-order brides rarely ever work out, and John (played by Ben Bowen) should have known. Having never been lucky in the game of love and tired of waiting for the perfect woman to come along, John decides to take his chances and orders a mail-order bride from Russia online. At first, things seem perfect: his new bride Nadia (Nicole Kidman/Mira) is a gorgeous woman, and although she may not speak much English, her skills in the bedroom more than make up for any communication problems. When Nadia's 'cousins' unexpectedly arrive to celebrate her birthday, John is drawn into their web of corruption and crime.

That was a crap movie. It was on telly last week...
HEY! Hold on dude, that's not cool. I'd be careful if I were you. As seen in this thread. Anyhoo, in that film, they get together in the end... after killing a load of people... (i.e. Lucien of Edinburgh)
