Misleading trailers
I found some trailers that were redone to give movies a different feel to them.
The Shining West Side Story Titanic |
Only watched the Shining one so far but I'm loading the other two now.
Funny, and a little worrying really. I've often seen trailers at the cinema and thought to myself "Yeah. That looks like my sort of film" It's quite worrying how you can completely alter the feel people get for a film by changing the presentation. I'll never trust a film trailer again. The West Side Story trailer finished loading up as I was typing this. Scary-looking movie, but I think they've played with the footage a bit as well on that one. |

How about Disney's Tarzan Special Edition DVD coming out in a few weeks that's promoted as a 2-disc release on the recent Toy Story: Special Edition and still on the official Web site DVD but recently switched to a single disc release.
Do I hear class-action lawsuit? |
What the **** was that? The Shining is one of my favourite movies. That trailer was... I can't even describe it.
|
What are you using to play them? I can't seem to get them to work.

These are, quite simply, beautiful. And, in the case of Titanic, better than the actual film :D.

The most misleading trailer of them all was the Phantom Menace one. It made it look like a good film.

Ah...I loved Shining and 10 Things I Hate About Commandments

Haha. loved the Commandments one.
Here's a trailer for Big And a pretty amusing movie mashup: Requiem for a Toy Story (probably goes without saying but it helps if you've seen both films) |
