I just finished the first chapter/quest, and I'm impressed. The story is good, the music's lovely (lovely graphics too) and the ideas in solving the puzzles are also enjoyable. It reminds me a little of "A Fairy Tale about Father Frost, Ivan and Nastya", but without the bizarre Russion -> English translation.

I'm off to play the next part now.

Two thumbs up!

Bah. I just died. I made an arbitrary choice ("do you want to do something?" "yes/no"), with no indication of what would be the consequence of either, and died because of it. And I hadn't saved for about 45 minutes, so I had to restart from my last save point. Curses!

On another note, I had no problem with Kazmodan's issue - got that straightaway. I haven't gotten stuck in the game - it's nice and logical, fairly straightforward, and none of this "try everything on everything and talk to everyone" lark. So thumbs up on that, but not for killing me and making me replay a linear story for 45 minutes.

Heh, that's why I save like crazy in any game.
Btw, I finished the game by now but I found another bug in it, I believe.

Spoiler:
When you keep filling the cup with water in the castle, even after using the water twice, first, for coffee with lemon, second, for poppyhead, you seem to no longer be able to get the potion from the cauldron/pot because it says, "Unable to get the potion, the cup is filled with water". And no way of emptying the cup after you've used it for the aforementioned tasks. Of course, I just restored an earlier savegame and avoided filling the cup the third time. As an example, if the cup is filled with coffee, even when you don't need it anymore, it will simply replace it with water if you try to fill it from the pool again, and so, it should simply replace water with potion in the case of cauldron/pot.

You should be able to pour the water out into the water pool.

There are plenty of screenshots at the homepage, in the "Gallery" section.

Ah, good to know. I can't try it anymore since I uninstalled the game by now but I'll take your word for it.

Default Five magical amulets - now also in German

A small update (two years later ) The game is now also available in German language. So if there are any German players who'd like to play (or re-play) the game, or recommend it to friends, just visit http://offstudio.fabry.cz/ and download the localization package.
Big thanks go to Linus Stubert, who made it possible.
