Oops, sorry for that. My @adventuredevelopers.com address is being terribly spammed, so I decided not to use it anymore. (I also restricted the size of my mailbox to a max. of 1 kb to annoy the spammers, hehe)

Anyway, I've sent you a Private Message with my other email address.

Default YO ... folks !

~~ Erwin_Br, Momcat, LauraMac ~~

Sometimes (often) I'm a bit slow on the uptake.
Until a year ago I wrote ages (not just mine) as, 79, or 79 years old, or aged 79.

Then I saw on one (or more) of the Forums 79 yo and thought it was a useful acronym ... and have been using it ever since (like ASAP, BTW, AFAIK, ATB, and whatever).

Not keeping up too well with USA (& maybe UK) recent slang, it didn't occur to me that this was likely to be interpreted as (a humorous) "YO !!!!"
(I'll know next time ! )

Talk about "Two nations divided by a common tongue" or whatever !!

Season's Greetings to everyone .......... Len Green.

P.S. *** Anybody else remember the 'yo-yo' heyday ... an absolute CRAZE in the 1930's !!

OK - someone please tell me how to do spoiler text (and why isn't that in the FAQ?) 'cause I really need to ask a question about the ending!

So here's my problem with the ending:
Spoiler:
When I enter the closet with theicon, I come out as the Welder! How do I avoid that? I can't seem to get rid of the icon.

Well, that opened up something that I didn't know about. Thanks. But what you need is
Hint
Spoiler:
You must destroy the icon BEFORE re-entering the ship

Bigger Hint
Spoiler:
Earlier in the game you'll have seen something very dangerous when exploring outside that could vapourise the icon

Blatant Hint
Spoiler:
Go down to the engines and drop the icon into them. Then go back inside the ship for the end sequence

Spoiler:
You have to get rid of the idol... considering there are only like three rooms you can visit, that shouldn't be too hard.

Edit: Whoops, Stephurfan actually answered the same question in this thread before.

By the way, I did this on my first playthrough... I guess I'd be a natural at surviving weird horror scenarios.

There are hundreds of links to free games here. If you mean in the specific mystery genre those games are in though, Pleurghburg: Dark Ages is sorta similar.

in the walkthrough i read on www.fullyramblomatic.com it says that if you finish it at a time that is special (or something like that) then the ending is different? Anyone know anything about that?

If you set your system clock to Yahtzee's birthday (I think) then you get a 'comic' extra ending. I can't remember the actual date, though...

I loved both games, but I had some problems with the second one. I thought it was definitely scarier, but at the same time...

Spoiler:
The game didn't follow the same logic that the first game did, as far as the killer \ ghost thing was concerned. Random scary things just happened, without real explanation, rhyme, or reason. It definitely made it more intense, but it turned me off a bit.

And the ending was very tacked on and lame.

Spoiler:
Imagine if something similar had happened at the end of Doom 3...
