For those who like adventures and would like to make their own :

Today i have released my point&click editor for creating classic 2d point&click adventure like the ones from lucasgames.

here is a feature list :

-Resolutions : 320x240, 640x480, 800x600.
-Filetype Support : Bmp, Jpg, Gif, Png, Wav, Mp3, Ogg, and all moduletracks.
-A usefull scripting language that allows you even to make minigames.
-Creates stand alone games.

-Can also be used for making games like myst without characters.

It's always nice to see another design kit for me to mess around with .

On a different note, the menu system for your site doesn't like Firefox - you get the image as a REALLY tiny one.

Do keep us updated on things .

Looks nice, I downloaded it and played with it a bit. I think that while not as good as AGS or WME it has its pluses, and I am sure people with modest programming abilities should try it, since the language is simple. Great work, I wish you success in the area of game-making.

I couldn't find a menu or anything.... Everything I saw was a counter, an image with a x on it, and this:

27.08.2004 : PaC-DK Online and released!
Hallo and welcome to my Point&Click DK site. If you are a Fan of the good oldscool point&click adventures you are right. The PaC-DK Editor allows people making their own classic 2D-Adventure without having to code an own engine.

You can now download the editor (english manual incl.) and a demoadventure for the editor. I hope that in future i can fill the GAMES List with your products.

Have fun, Zimond!

for those who got an error message in the demo "2,5 ist keine gültige gleitkommazahl" please download the demo and the editor again, sorry.

There was a critical bug that only appeared on non-german systems... it should be solved now.

Oy, the school computer can't install flash because of the administrator rights. It would be nice to have a non-flash site as well, or something.

Or a direct link

Actually i have never really tested other adventure creators because i wanted to do my own stuff without having other tools in mind

But now since its released it might be some good time to compare so :

If you would like and if you have some time (not today, i mean in the next weeks) you could tell me about things that are not as good as in WME or AGS and about the pluses you mentioned, so i know what things should be included in future releases.

Greetz, Zimond.

Dude, sorry, I don't have the time to test your engine that thoroughly - you can check the feature list at those other engine's homepages and compare, though. Good luck!
