3D animator needed for, like... TEN SECONDS.
I'm designing a game with a small team of people. We're aiming for it to be a pretty big project. Some of us already have experience with amateur game design; some of us have already completed projects. Myself, I completed a project named Beyond Reality, which was a medium length game with a horrendous storyline and mediocre graphics. But my point is, it was my first game and I guess it shows to you that I'm dedicated and can actually finish a job, and I'm not just one of these guys that floats in and out of projects.
I don't want people thinking their time will be wasted, so I'll tell you a little more; There's 9 people on the team so far, including the Project Leader, Writer, Interface Programmer, and some puzzle designers/testers. It's being made using the AGS engine. Okay, here's where I need help; we're currently in the process of experimenting with different art styles. Because it will be a keyboard controlled I'm considering 3D rendered characters. I'm not asking anybody to agree to throw up their free time for the next year and a half for some underground game design project; I just need somebody to volunteer to create 3D models of two of the main characters, that we can test them and see how they fit the style of the game. And maybe, if you're feeling extra-extra generous, you could help with a few test 3D rendered backgrounds. You don't have to join the team; I'm just looking for a once-off contribution. Unless you WANT to join the team. That's alright, too. |

Is this the Grim Fandango rip-off?

Sorry sugar, it will take me circa two weeks to make a presentable 3d character, plus as mich to animate it. Will this be realitime or pre-rendered?

I may be interested in modeling and texturing a character as long as I don't have to rig it and animate it.
...so prerendered, right? |

Yes, pre rendered. Awesome! I'll hook you up with a few sketches and see what you think.

Don't worry, I think Mr Lovegrove has the cock-exposing covered [exposing, covered, an oxymoron?]
