Separated this from the Rainbow Entertainment thread, as this appears to be by a different studio.

I have to say, it does look good.

Hello guys,

My name is Nikola and I am project lead on Vsevolod game as well as head of SVARUN Studios. It flatters me much to see people call Vsevolod Serbian game but that is not completely true, as nothing could be done without the dedicated work of our entire international team, most of all Simon Ketteniss hailing from Ohlsbach, Germany and Zdenek Mihula, from Sezimovo Usti in beautiful Czech Republic.

As for the game itself, we have received some complaints regarding the clarity of the story which is actually a consequence of the incompleteness of the game at this point. For the sake of making you interested in the story and the game, I will share some details:
  • Vsevolod takes place in an alternate world somewhat similar to this Earth's XIX century, where the delicate peace enjoyed by the peoples of Germania and Greater Slavic Empire is threatened by the blood-thirsty hordes of the Republic of Britannia. This world never knew Christianity, so the colorful paganism of Slavic and Germanic peoples is, at least in this game, very much alive and well
  • the game itself begins in the early October of year 8187 in the game world's calendar with the archaeologists and historians that were visiting the Obzorye island on a scientific expedition make a hasty leave on their fleet of airships. The reason for the sudden departure was an eruption of open hostility when Republic of Britannia launched an invasion of the mainland of Empire of Germania. As more and more countries enter the war on either sides, scholars that comprised mixed Slavic-Germanian expedition rush back to their motherlands to face the uncertain future alongside their families and friends
  • one of the historians remains however. Vsevolod Nikolaevich Peremishlov is the young nobleman who organized the whole expedition in order to crown his decade long pursuit of the mystical artifacts with a success. He waved his fellow scholars goodbye with an excuse of staying behind in order to carry out additional research, leaving the island in a fortnight when the whaling ship instructed to pick up their gear and finds reaches Obzorye.
  • Vsevolod's agenda comprised of delving deeper into the underground of the Svitava svarostan, searching for the remnants of the ancient Slavic Northerners which is supposed to reveal the location of the four artifacts that belonged to Lord Svarog the Creator himself

In order to better explain the story, I have decided to share some of our documentation with you. All of the above and much more can be found in game in the form of various Journal Entries. All of them may be read here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sm33pt5r99gh7yd

As for the biography of the main character, you may find some info here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?ae3u57x42g31393

Background story of the game world and its creation may be found here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?5osf40s0m5xgol8

All of this is currently or will be a part of our game, so maybe I should sound the spoiler alert.

If you have any more questions regarding the game, I'm all ears

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi Nikola!
Thank you for the information about the backround of the story. I find the game very interesting now.
I understand that the game is takes place in the past?

Here's a walkthrough for the demo if someone needs it:

I've finished the prologue and is was very special, but I think you should change the font of the text.
It's really hard to read the texts, and I understand that there's going to be a lot of text in this game. Please change it to Ariel or something...
