Hello everyone,

I'm working on an oldsql adventure game entitled The Trader of Stories. It's about a woman who had lost her memory and in order to find it she travels the world and gathers stories hoping that one of them shall be hers. The background for the game is one of my fantasy worlds I created some time ago.

Just gave the demo a try. I really like the graphical style. :)

I also really like the the fairy-tale feel of the story.

However, if I'm honest I couldn't really understand what was going on aside from the basic premise of the game. Before you release the full version I would recommend you get someone to go through and check the dialog. The way certain things are written is a little strange and at times makes no sense at all. Your English is clearly good but there are sentences where you need to switch words around in order for them to fully make sense. If you would like some help with sorting this aspect of your game then feel free to PM me and I'll happily lend a hand.

I also didn't like the inventory GUI at the top of the screen. It detracts from your backgrounds. In my opinion it would look better if it was made smaller or moved to the bottom of the screen.

Anyway, on your blog I see you're asking if people will be interested in this game. I definately think they will be and I hope you do go ahead and finish it because you're game has alot of promise. Good luck with it!

Wow the art style looks amazing.

Just finished the demo, it's very nice. The art style works well and the music is quite good. Myosotis is a clever name as well "Forget me not" lol very good. Sound odd but I really liked the cursor, it's hard to find original cursors in AG's these days.

Needs more polish and some grammar/spelling alterations but it's a great little demo looking forward to the full game.

WOW I really must say that the game you are developing is great and I appreciate all your efforts.

Please keep us update on the events regarding this game. I am surely looking forward to give it a try and awaiting for the final version.

Wintermute is quite a nice engine. This game definitely will benefit from its capabilities. So far, I'm falling in love with your unique art style. It would be quite a journey to experience this sort of game.

I’m working now on a new location which shall be Myosotis family home. I'm curious what you think about it.

Really like the artwork I can't wait to play the full game. Will the final version have full voice acting?

For the possibility of full voice acting - I would love it and I hope that by the end of the game developing I will find help in this subject.

I'm a great fan of Ghibli studio but the game is not directly inspired by their movies.

Man. I gotta say. I'm Utterly, UTTERLY impressed by your art. I really can't do anything but wish you the best for your project. I'll be following it along.

I'm loving the upcoming character sketches from the blog. the girl with the books looks great!

Still working on the demo. My beta testers came with new ideas which I'm trying out now. In the meantime you can cast a glance on a new location.
