Anyone need a writer?

Hello everyone. I've been looking around the thread, and have seen much older posts wanting writers, or people looking for comedic writers. I don't do well with comedy, but if there's anyone out there who needs someone to help with the plot, or screenplay, etc...I'd be happy and eager to help and be your writer. If not, I'd like to help with anything else, but I have no idea how to do the art, etc. :P

Hey I can't commit to anything right now, although I am a student journalist and screenwriter who graduates this year. After that I will be doing side projects etc while I job hunt, so maybe if something comes up I will take the opportunity definately. My advice is to keep looking, there are many indie teams who would be glad of the help! Its more of a gesture atm rather than anything concrete, but I always think its nice to make contacts.

Thanks, Marty!!! Yeah, I'm not a professional yet or anything, but I've always loved to write, fan fictions especially, and would love to have a chance to help make an adventure game. ;)

(Oh, and I deleted the last part of your comment, as it's still a work in progress so we'll keep it under wraps for now. :D)

Hey Fantasysci5, from one fellow writer to another, they say that if you can write a game story that's half the battle finished there. A lot of people say they can do everything else but can't write a word.

If you think you might want to try your hand at making a game yourself, you are more than welcome to stop by my site and take a look in the Site Links area. We have a large list of free tools that can help you get started.

When I first started out I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler. I rely a lot on other artists works in the way of Picture Tubes, brushes and ShareCG is very helpful as well, and the artists are very generous and will let you use their works if you are making a free game. If you'd like to take a look here is a pic from my game.

If you are interested just click on the address in my sig under StarLite Palace. You don't have to join if you don't want to, but you might find something useful over there to help you out. Take care :)

Hey StarLite. Thanks for the encouragment. Your games looks pretty cool, especially with using that very mysterious occurance. ;)

Hey Fantasysci5, glad you liked the pic.

Yes, I've always been fascinated with mystery especially when it revolves around historical events. Researching the history for Roanoke was very interesting. And Roanoke is one of those history mysteries that a lot people don't know about.

If people don't enjoy the game I hope that they at least enjoy the store line. Most of all I hope people will be playing it soon. I'm at the debugging stage right now, everything is 100% finished except for working out the bugs. I'm not good with programming that's why it's taking me so long to do. But it will get out there one day, I hope.
