Default Adventure Maker Causes Keyboard Imprint

On my forehead. I'm All QWERTYfied!

The "Help File", is not. Fer example, I made an inventory item. I can pick up said inventory item and put it into my inventory. They even provided me with a very helpful tutorial on dragging an inventory bit onto a hotspot to use it.

But, do you think I could find anything about how to just *look* at an inventory item? Say, if it's something I need to *read*?.

And I must be utterly missing some major bit of information about how to define variables.

Grargh. Anyone want to hold my hand through this?

Why not just use AGS instead of Adventure Maker? It has a better community.

Cause AGS confused me even more, and was much more complicated for me to use.

I'm a bit of a geek simpleton, I'm afraid.

AGS has a help file and the latest version (3.02) has a GUI to define variables. All you say is easy in AGS, so maybe you shoudl have another go!
