Sorry for the Downtime
Something Amiss got posted on some well read blogs and traffic spiked - so much so that it exceded my hosting provider's bandwidth limit. Consequently the site was down while I transfered to a new host.
Now its back up and will soon feature chapter two in the series. Sorry for the confusion. |

Chapter Two
All the artwork is done for chapter two. I'm just coding the game now and debugging. It shouldn't be long before the release. It's much longer then the first chapter - over a dozen rooms!
Check out the game blog for more updates. |

I'm having some problems with your forest maze. Occasionally when i get dumped back out to the beginning, if i re-enter the forest I can't actually progress anywhere - all directions throw me straight back out again. (NB: I've not got passed the gorilla yet, if that makes a difference)

Hi,
I've just finished it. I've found the following problem: When feeding banaa to the monkey without the drug, we have to start that part. See spoiler below: Spoiler: Great game |

I like what you've done so far. One question: how can I save? Or can't I?

Saving
Thanks for playing. To save, first, you'll have to have given the game a unique name to start with. The game will usually automatically save for you as you go along, but it sometimes doesn't do this. To be sure, press the SHIFT key and then when the menu comes up - press 'save game'.
Then if you leave the game and come back you can reload from where you left off. The save feature isn't perfect yet though...many factors like cookies, browsers, etc. can throw it off. Its best to try to beat the game in one sitting. I'm posting a hint guide in a few days which should help. Thanks for playing Splatt, and pointing out the bug...this is one of 2 problems that slipped past my beta testing net. (The other was duplicating compasses) They're fixed now. Let me know if you encounter anymore. (If people are still experiencing monkey problems you may have to dump your browser cache.) For the next chapter, I'm widening my beta test pool to catch more of these errors. But being an indie game, a few bugs are bound to creep in. Tucker |

I'm further in the game now and it's much bigger than I thought! It's fun too. Good work adventureman!

Hey Adventureman! I'm still waiting for part III of the story to come out. Could you update us on how the development is progressing?

Chapter III
Hi folks,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I got a freelance gig that kept me busy for most of the summer. Now that its over, I'll have more time to work on Chapter III. It's going well so far - I've collected all the imagery for it and many of the sound effects. Now its just a matter of compiling everything and rendering the animations. I'll post more updates on my game blog. You can subscribe to my newsletter there and learn the moment the next installment comes out. Thanks for playing. The indie adventure community is a great bunch of people and I'm working hard so that each chapter tops the previous one. |

Hey Adventureman, I noticed that you changed your website. Does that mean we'll be able to play part III soon?

It's getting close...
I'm definitely getting close. I'll probably be opening it up for Beta Testing before too long.
That said, there are over 20 rooms in this chapter so I have to triple check everything to make sure no errors crept in. Thanks for your interest! |
