Software to create old Sierra type games
Years ago I used a program that had a similar name to Adventure Game Studio. But I cant remember what it was and maybe theres something better that came along since. I want to make something like Kings Quest I with simple graphics and the need to type in commands. But the only programs I see are for point and click type games like...later Sierra games. Any help?

If you want to make a game like the old Sierra ones, I would be astounded if there's anythign better than AGS. AGS has come on a lot over the past few years and you can do almost anything in it, except it can be a bit slow with high resolutions and lots of colours. But if you're fine with old skool graphics, then no problems. AGS is at http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk

Yes, it was AGI thanks. AGS doesnt let you make a game where you type in what to do (as far as I can tell) which is what I want.

AGS can do parser, it's just by default like the later Sierra point and clicks.
